Chevy 350

I have a 1976 350 with a HEI Distributor i'm getting Spark to all cylinders but only 4 are firing #1-4-6-7

Just a suggestion...

Maybe your plug wires are bad or boots not fully engaged on the plugs.

Spray a little water on the wires and try to start it. You should hear the plug wires "crackle" if they are cracked and grounding out to the block. Do this when its dark outside and you should also see the spark jumping to the block.

I found a few bad wires on one of my cars this way.

There's also an off chance that those plugs are so fouled they may not be firing.

May be something's plugged up in one side of the carb. One side of the carb feeds those four cylinders, and the other side feeds the other four. I forget which side feeds which, but follow the intake runners one-at-a-time and you'll see what I mean. A clogged fuel passage in one side could cause a miss with that pattern.

All this is assuming you have a dual-plane intake manifold.
