chevy 350 ignition

so im going to be putting a supercharger on a 72' chevy 350 engine. my question is what ignition system do i have to use because ive heard that the HEI system wont fit with a supercharger or something like that.

How's the bottom end on that 350? Is it a 4 bolt main?

ya its a 4 bolt. could i use a a MSD BTM box and a blaster ss coil with a MSD distibuter? would that work with the supercharger on top.

With out seeing it..... I'd be guessing. Call the manufacturer of the super charger, they should have some info on problem areas.... but just guessing here, it should fit.

MSD makes a number of distributor caps that are specifically designed for tight-clearance applications that fit their distributors... you might want to get an MSD catalog and thumb through it

don't forget... if u are using the orig points dizzy now, u can still use it and put in a points eliminator kit from pertronix or mallory. save's a bunch of $$$$$$$$
