Chevy 350 supercharged

I have a 72 chevelle with a stock 350, for the most part it just has headers, holly 600cfm carb, intake and a pertronix distributor. The motor is a new crate engine from Autozone. Can I supercharge it without changing the cam and going all crazy? If so tell me how and how much?

Which "new crate engine" ?

What specs?
What is the static compression ratio?
What cam?
Which heads?
Which pistons?

Is it the 175 hp one? The 250 hp one? The 275? the 300? the 325? the 350 hp 350?

You have an engine that MAY have low compression or very high

It MAY have cast internals, it MAY have some forged stuff.

It MAY be a motor that will work with a "huffer", but it most likely won't.

You are sort of asking such an open-ended question that there is no answer at all. As to "how much?" - well - how much $$$ have you got?
