Cool Chevy 350 Turbo ???

On Of My Budies Popped A Chevy 350 Into A Old Opel Commondore Senator. Doing Decent Times At The 400M, Speed Of 155Km/h Is Not bad for a stock V8 With a Toyota 21R Gearbox. But Now He Wants To Turbo The Bugger, Is This even Possiple ? And How Much Bar Boost Can He Get Of Standard Pistens, Or Should He Invest In A 383 Stroker Or Better A Mazda RX7 !

it can be done but not real easily on a carbureted setup and being bone *** stock the motor will take an *** whoopin. the pistons are cast and wont handle the combustion temperatures. also that tranny is next to go change that quick
a 383 is a good choice. ive got a friend with a 383 in a 76 camaro with world heads, hyperuetectic pistons, cast bottom end and hes pullin consistant 12.8s. good engine fairly inexpensive.

I say go for it. But you would be better off with some Forged pistons in that 350. The cast ones will work for a little while but not under a lot of boost.

It is very easy to set up the turbos also. I'd grab a Holley double pumper carb to make the job easier. That thing would FLY!!!!
