chevy 383 bent flexplate?

So Im working on my chevy 350/383 getting it ready to mount (FINALLY) in the truck (49 Chevy 3 window). Im looking at the flexplate and notice that it looks a little strange. Looking down on the engine there is a noticable difference in space between the flexplate and the motor on one side. So I take it off and sure enough it has a small bulge at two of the mounting holes. Any idea on how this happened? It was externally balanced when I had the motor stroked, but I imagine that they wouldve checked to make sure it was still straight. The motor did sit on a tire (to keep it off the ground) with the flexplate bolted to it for about 9 months. Do you guys think I can run it still with no negative effects on the engine/drivetrain? It is such a tiny deviation but noticable nonetheless. I just dont want to have to get the rotating assembly balanced and tear the motor apart again or use this flexplate and have bad things happen. Thanks for any help from the hotrodders knowledgable!!!

If you used a turned down 400 crank , I would just get me a new flex plate for a 400 SB and use it . You should be able to see the balance weight on the old flex plate, that will tell you if its a 400.
