Thats the thing I dont know my piston to deck clearence. The block is still at the shop and I dont know how much of the surface he took off. The block was in awsome shape. Is there a usuall ammount that machine shops usaually take off the deck surface. The block has never been worked on previously. I suppose I can still run my CR between 9.5:1 and 11:1 and get a piston that will have my ratio somewhere between that mark without knowing off hand the piston to deck clearence is. So would I be able to get a +12 cc or + 5 cc dished piston to make my CR between that mark without knowing right now what my piston to deck clearence is.
