My wife got tired of me penching pennies and agonizing over parts decisions and handed me a credit card and told me to finish it so we could ride in it before we get too old.
I just used the spray on engine paint. It looks good and will probably last what's left of my life with no problem. look at my photos. You'll see the similarities in our projects.
