Chevy 4.3 high performance questions

Hi all!

I have a '92 S-10 Blazer that I'm trying to get "right". I have installed all the bolt-in stuff: an MSD ignition (and NGK iridium plugs gapped at .065); Edelbrock headers; a Motorvation throttle body spacer; and a Jet Phase 2 performance chip (which I'm thinking about replacing with a stock chip because the codes are spitting out); a Fram AirHog air filter, etc.

The car has puffed out a smoke cloud since I got it - I'm pretty sure it's the valve seals. So I'm considering replacing the heads, and I would like to go with bigger valves. There used to be big-valve heads for 4.3's from Summit and other suppliers, but I guess it's a dying breed. Any suggestions?
