chevy 4.3 intake gaskets

I am putting my 4.3 v6 chevy ('89 tbi) together, and the intake gaskets have the water passages blocked. Are these the right gaskets? Everything seems to fit, but I am worried about the passages being blocked. I don't want problems later, like finding out these are only for a year other than mine. The gaskets are Fel-Pro complete engine set. I don't have the PN; the box went in the garbage when there were just a couple of gaskets on the bench. Is there a performance consideration here? Or will my engine just overheat and burn when I start it up? ! Any suggestion or help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!!

Your gaskets are correct, the rear waterports on 4.3's are usually restricted or blocked. Same with later model 305-350s with throttle body in pickups.

Yeah, it is supposed to be the right set, but there are passages in the heads and the intake. That is why I am wondering if something is amiss.

Does this have any effect on performance or durability? If I would be better off gettting different intake gaskets, I will gladly do so. I have invested a great deal of time and money into ensuring that this engine runs well.

I want to thank you all for your help with this, it helps a lot to have people who are willing to answer questions.
