Chevy 400 turbo tranny (leak)
 

I have a Chevy 400 turbo tranny on my street rod. I have tranny fluid leaking from the bottom of my torque converter dust cover. I noticed this when my street rod is parked and sits for a while. Drips quite a bit, then stops. The tranny is working great. Any ideas? I want to address this even if it requires pulling the tranny in order to save it from failure and damage. Thanks! Bob

pull the dust cover and look to see were its leaking :rolleyes:

Hey hey heyyy!!! ... Don't state the obvious :D Take off the 3/8" or 10mm bolts that hold the cover on and look for yourself to see where the leak's coming from, hopefully not the front seal.. :pain: If it's a light drip, it's not worth pulling the entire tranny out just to replace a $1 seal.
