chevy 454 manual transmission

hi i am replacing my old tired 350 out of my 73 4x4 pickup with a 454 form a 89 crew cab auto. my question is can i use the 4 speed manual that was mated to the 350 on the 454 if i get the right flywheel, bellhousing etc.
any help is much appreciated

should be able to
just remember 454 is externaly balanced

If the manual trans behind the 350 was using a 11" or 12" clutch, all you need is the 454 external balance flywheel and the clutch will bolt right on. Bellhousing is the same between the two motors. This is an easy swap due to Chevy's interchangability.

one more question, if i cant get ahold of a flywheel for the 454 can i use a balance plate with the 350 flywheel?
