Chevy AD truck 6 lug to 5 lug chevy car pattern
 

I searched w/ no luck, i know I've seen it here.
Can I take the front drums from a '51 chevy car and use them on an AD truck?

Yes, it's an easy way to convert to a 5 lug pattern on the front

I believe it depends on the year truck. I THINK (not sure) that up to 50 you need to change the backing plates and spindles as well. After that the backing plates and spindles are the same as the car. I seem to remember something like that.

I just got the drums, brakes,and backing plate, but not the spindles. I'm going to go check now, to see if they fit.

'51 Chevy car to '50 Chevy truck.

Drum fit spindle.
Inter truck bearing dust cover is a little larger in dia.
