This is a manual 4 spd (sm465) if that makes a difference in the brakes...I wouldn't think so. It is a manual system now. Perhaps someone pulled off a nonworking power brake system and swapped out the cheaper part. The master cylinder does look aftermarket and sorta cheap now that I think about it.
Thanks for the suggestion on the rubber lines. Good call. The fuel lines from the tank hard lines to the lines running up the frame are due for change too so there's one more thing.

I've put mostly fresh fluid in the master cylinder and will be bleeding the lines when the new brake hardware gets installed.
