chevy cylinder heads
Does anyone out there have a set of 993 chevy heads.
if so, could you verify if they have a double hump or what outside visual signs do they have. Thanks in advance, Mike Cleary. |

The 993 head is one of the early open chambered heads. They have 1.94" intakes and 1.5 exhaust valves.
These heads are normally less crack prone in comparison to other 882 heads or the 624 heads. They are identified on the outside by a rectangle with a square rising up out of the top. They were not designed for unleaded fuel use. They have approx 160 CC intake runners and 76 CC chambers. Brian |
