Chevy head 482824?? I cant find ne listing on this head??

I have a guy trying to sell me these heads 482824 rebuilt but i cant find the casting number on mortec website. He says they are off a 78 pontiac catalina. Are these heads worth buying. Have new rebuilt job with 1.5 rockers ??

I haven't seen that casting number, but there is a light weight small block 462624 casting. Could the "8"s be "6"s?
These are light weight heads that are very crack prone. Unless you can get a smokin' deal on these and a guarantee against cracks, I'd pass.

Yeah, you should look closely at the numbers. I've confused 3s and 6s with 8s before..
