Chevy HHR Sighting!!

I was shocked, I thought they were gonna be 07
Chevy HHR Site

anyways driving 101 N. going down the hill into Sausalito. There was four of them. all in a row. A metallic blue, a metallic burnt orange, a silver, and a light metallic gold. They seemed to be of varying packages. one had a sunroof and roof rack. the others did not. they were driving so I couldnt tell what the wheels looked like. They were definitly finished production models though. 3 of them had Michigan plates. couldnt tell where they were heading. and since it was AM rush, nobody seemed to notice them.
ANd why not? they are PT Cruisers! They are designed by the same guy as the PT, they are almost identical in shape and size, although the HHR seems to have a higher ride height. I love seeing new cars, but I cant say these impressed me. lets just hope they have more get up and go than the PT.

They stop production on the camaro/firebirds, and start making these things?!?! WTH?!?! Damn, Im a chevy guy and I am sad to say that the new fords are better than these things! That thing is Fugly!!!
At least its not the ugliest thing on the road, I saw an even uglier SUV yesterday it was an Isuzu, I don't know what the model was but it was so ugly that I busted out laughing when I saw it. I tried to get a picture of it with my camera phone to post on here so we could all laugh but it didn't turn out to good.

I agree, I like GMs, but they are missing something... They keep bringing back cool names like Monte Carlo, Impala, Malibu, GTO, but then the cars suck looks wise!! I will say I do like the g6 but its supposed to be an import beater...

Hold on guys, I know that Chevy is ugly, but when I saw this thing http://www.chevrolet.com/uplander/photogallery/ I blurted out "oh my god what the ***k is that!?"

I know Pennsylvania uses the death penalty but I would still kill the people who designed the Uplander if I met them.

What is that supposed to be? Is it a jacked up mini-van? Is it an old-lady friendly SUV? It's uglier than a bucktoothed donkey on a bad hair day, I know that much.

Yet another candy coated safety turd for the masses.

This is how I see it, the more fugly cars roll of the assembly line and the more people buy them the better. I'd rather have everybody buy the new carabortion-mobiles than them starting to look for classics in the fields to restore them. The ones one the field are ment for us rodders. If all the ricers would now all the sudden realize that classics are better, and traditional rods are the way to go and would convert to rodders we'd be screwed. My dream '32 5-window coupe in a barn somehwere would be gone!!! Let everybody else roll around in their abortions of a car, I'll keep looking on the fields for my classics.

Mike

I think you're safe on that one. Most people don't know how to change their own oil, let alone restore a car.

People think the 80's were a black hole in automotive design, it seems things got a bit better in the 90's but have gone downhill drastically again.

Just Plain Butt Ugly...

Doc here..

After Seeing that..It's Future Ad Campaign Should Be a photo of it with yellow tape around it marked "Crime Scene"....

OR ... It really looks better at 2 AM....

Offer Free 100,000 mile warranty and "buyer's remorse Classes" with every purchace...

"Engineer....,just step away from the CAD program...put DOWN the mouse and no one will get hurt..."

With every purchase you get a free "unknown Comic bag" to wear over your head while driving the vehicle...So nobody knows what a mistake you made..

OnStar now has a list of street corners you can park where it MAY get stolen..(if your lucky and the natives really need a fix...)

Homeless People will wonder up at intersections and OFFER you a dollar...not to touch the windows...

Boasts of Fuel efficiency...TRUE...cuz you really don't want to get caught driving this puppy much...

The ability to survive a front end collision and actually look better..(without body work) And the air bag will hide your face...

Special Insurance required...protects against Fire Theft, PL/PD and Pedestrians Who might drop dead laughing...

Should be required to pass Bi Annual Smog and Ugly Inspections...

Report the car stolen...and the Police say.."Let us know if it finds it's way back home...will release it again further out in the wild..."

Give me a classic anyday..those will say " Your car is loud and drinks gas..." I respond to, "Yeah, but I can fill the tank and turn the radio up ...What can you do?"
