Chevy Nova Postless: Need Pricing Advice.

I don't have any pictures, but i can give a brief description.

68-69 Chevy Nova (i forget off the top of my head)
2 door
tires still holding air
120k original miles
postless (no post behind door)
clean title
green
very little minimal exterior rust (maybe just a 2-3 spots of quarter sized bubbling)
no dents
no rear window
dash is bad
seats are good IIRC
floors could use some work, idk if they are all the way gone though
always garage kept for the last 20 years
original wheels, with the chrome ring around. they are paint matched from factory.
4 barrel holley carb, forget size.

Car ran like 6 years ago, but it was parked and put a new 4 barrel on it and it sat every since. Not one once of gas put though the carb :(

overall good car, but my buddy needs some cash and i told him i will help him out. What is the "general" resale value of a postless nova thats all original and that needs some repairs.

i honestly dont care to do the body work, repairs etc to sell it fixed and reconditioned. just trying to help a friend out and don't want to get myself in a bind.

Not actual car but same color and same wheels (just color matched)

Better get us a picture of it if you want us to help....too many variables without one.
You say "postless"?...That car in the picture has a post.....There were no 68-72 Novas that came without the post, so either you have the wrong car or the wrong year. Earlier Novas came as hardtops

Sorry for the delay, i checked the title. It is definitely a 1969, and it 100% has no post. With the front and rear seat of windows down. It's wide open. The picture above was for color reference.

Here are a zillion and one photos of 69 Novas you won't see a "post-less" or "hardtop" as they are commonly called. 1969 Nova - Google Search

You must have the wrong year or model in mind, or the car has been customized as they didn't make a 69 Hardtop Nova. There were no convertibles either, there were only two basic bodies, two door and four door. Some as you can see by the photos have chrome on the post between the door and the quarter glass, but there are none with no post there.

Since it would definitely be the ONLY 1969 2Dr HT Nova in existence, I'd instantly call the guys at Barret-Jackson about consigning it. Should go somewhere over ten Million bux!

Of course, if it isn't a Nova 2 dr HT, but actually IS a car that actually exists as a 2 dr HT, then the value would be a LOT less! :D

The only other possible explanation I could come up with would be a one-off custom, built as a 2 dr HT from a 2dr sedan.

I'd like to own that Nova myself...I'd park it beside my all original 67 Camaro 2 door post car with a short box. Just kidding, look at the car again, I agree with everybody, haven't ever seen a post Nova in those years.

Mfoehrkolb...Now you have to get us pictures of this car

Every body can makes mistakes.... I meant to say "non" post Nova. Again, check the car...How much is he asking for the car?

Oh, by the way, my Camaro is a 66. You have to have a bit of a sense of humor every now and then.

I have the title in hand its a 69 nova. You guys are saying the is no such thing as a no post nova, but maybe im saying it wrong. The "post" is the B pillar... between the door and rear window. It has a cloth top or whatever fabric it is, and the rear and front window is down and there is no post there. If that is the correct post... Either someone chopped it off or idk whats going on...

poncho62 10-22-2012 04:54 AM

Best to post a picture of the car when you can
