Chevy Ram Jet 350

Has anyone added the Ram Jet FI unit to a previously carbed 350 or a ZZ 4 350?

How do these units compare with the aftermarket FI in cost and performance?

What needs to be changed besides the obvious, Dist and fule pump, does it need a return fule line?

I'm fairly sure ALL F.I. system require a return line due to the high pressure requirements.

A cheap and real trick alternative might be a OEM dual TBI setup with a stand alone engine management system.

The Ramjet intake manifold wont fit a ZZ4 350 or conventional 12 intake bolt 350 due to the Ramjet intake using a Vortec 8 intake bolt patter with raised intake ports.

Yes it requires a return line. The Ramjet intake will fit on a 1996+ L30/L31 Vortec 305/350 engine, the ZZ430 430hp crate, the ZZ383 425 hp crate as well as teh 350HO crate(which is just a Vortec 350 with the roller cam and lifters ripped out and replaced by a flat tappet system. Never buy a 350HO over a stock 1996-2002 L31 replacement engine.
