Chevy rearend

Anybody got a suggestion for a good rearend swap for a stock '62 Chevy II Nova Wagon??

Chevy Dude, if You're gonna have some power in front of It. May I suggest a Ford 9 inch out of say a Mustang. The 9 inch will hold up better than a 10, or 12 bolt G.M. rearend, and the choices for Gears are alot more.
Plus from a Safety Standpoint, the axle Shafts and wheels, won"t roll out from under the Car like they will if a C-Clip breaks.In a G.M. 10 or 12 Bolt.

also bear in mind that you'll probably have to narrow the rear you utilize as the nova bodys are quite narrow. A lot of the chevys have tapered axle splines, making them very expensive to narrow where the fords are very easy and cheap to narrow, as well as strong.
