Hello.I'm not a mechanic so I'm trying my best.Work with me lol.I have Chevy SB 350 headers, eldebroc intake and cab,msd ignition and coil.I brought my 350 block in 2011 from Jegs.Basically I want to installed a can and replace the heads with aftermarket heads aluminum.I have a (comp cam 474 lift).I'm just reading off the paper.I also have a summit cam but after doing alittle research the (Comp cam) is for sound and my summit can too little.Basically I have $1500 left in my budget and I'm trying to get close to 400 HP as possible.Somebody help me please.Oh yea.Remember I have a 2011 Chevy SB 350 so at lest I got a new block. Thanks guys

350 Chevy Project

I would suggest that you spend some of your budget on a experienced engine guy who will help you.

too CAM or not to CAM ?

have you considered punchin that block out to a 383 stroker, I did one back in 08, performance in Tucson did the punch 30 ov then I shopped around for a set of keith Blk pistons slid a mild rv cam, eldelbrocked the top end with Mallory and msd, through some cheep performer headers with 3' flow dyno'd at 410hp, but my opionion on the cam 400hp is gonna be nearly impossible. good luck young man

oh my bad I am a mech. and have been proudly playing with these here 350 since about 1962. I did the complete build for around 2800.00 parts and punch. I could of saved around 800.00 going with a off brand piston.
