Chevy Silverado Trans cable

Folks,

Does anyone have a set of GM shop manuals for a 99 silverado (probbably 99-03 will work as well) Today while changing the tranny fliud I broke the shift cable housing when the prybar slipped. Anyway I'm trying to decide whether to fix it myself or take it somewhere.

The cable replacement is fairly straightforward. There may be some interior carpeting/insulation to be moved and possible console trim.
Get a new cable from a GM dealer. Adjust the cable with shifter in Neutral and trans in neutral..
