chevy small block head decking

how much material can i take off a 64cc "fuelie" head before the intake runner should be cut?

I would not spend any large amounts of money on heads that are 45 years old.

It's illogical to boost the compression ratio on a head that doesn't flow well enough to warrant the increase.

@ 9.1:1, i need all the help i can get! these heads have been opened up a tad.

0.014 milling will bring you around 62cc's

If I'm right this puts you at 9.7:1
I'm guessing by your math, stock deck, small dish stock piston SBC.....?
