chevy tilt and side column

Hi
dose anyone have a workshop diagram of a chevy tilt and slide column coming to bits as i need to strip my column down and wanted to see how it comes apart

Well these bad boys aren't too fun to take apart but it can be done. The main thing is you'll need a special tool to get the C clip out that holds it together otherwise you can take them apart by compressing the inner wheel down and prying the clip out with a screwdriver. Gotta be careful though as I have broke many plastic pieces that are within this bad boy.

hi
what i need to do isto get the shaft that gose into the fire wall needs to be cut down and resplined so it will fit my car i just wanted to see if anyone has a diagram of one in bit like a workshop manual picture?Then i can take it to bits for the machine shop.
