chevy truck serial number help please
have just purchased a 3100 stepside chevy truck,am wondering if anyone can help identify its year of manufacture,the v.i.n number stamped on the plate inside the drivers door jam is GAA556137,i believe the truck is a 1952 but the guy i bought it from said its a 1948,any help appreciated.thanks joff.
