Chevy Turn Signal Switch

I need help determining what year my Chevy steering column is so i can by a new Turn signal switch. The steering column is tilt and has no key on the side of the column. Any help would be great.

Looks like an early GM 50s, here is a place to start looking. Typically they change part designs every ten years back then.

Did GM change Wire colors in the column? Thats where i am having problems figuring out what year this is. Actually my Question should be is what year turn signal switch can i put in my column?
