Chevy V6 casting number

Hi everybody
I see that Mortec is no longer around. The casting number for this head is 10235772. Chevy V6 4.3 liter. Vortec. The engine in my 1998 ZR2 4x4 S10 is not the original. Can anyone HELP?

From HERE:

1996-’98 ALL TRUCKS EXCEPT HEAVY DUTY: There was another all new head introduced in ’96. It had bigger intake and exhaust ports, no exhaust crossover and four angled bolts for the intake. It’s the 10235772 casting that was used up through ’98.
Might not be the original engine but those are the heads it would have had- the "good" 4.3L Vortecs that everyone swaps to.
