I didn't plan it that way. My place use to have numerous power outages, and I wasn't a fan of noisy generators so set up a 24 Kw/hr battery bank, inverter, and solar panels. Last couple of years almost no power outages, so instead of wasting the solar with the charge controller disconnecting the panels from the battery bank, I just plug the EVs into that inverter and "fill up". For the little driving I do when down there, my storage from just 130 watts worth of panels handles all my driving.
