Well since you brought it up .....me too. someone had to put me out just last year...I was sitting on a bucket welding and the frayed edge at the bottom of my pants started burning ,the flame was all the way up to my knees and its funny I had no idea ,must have been the long johns. luckily someone was there...I thought I smelt something...Something I learned a long time ago is always have an air hose with a blower hooked up and a pump type water bottle "before" you start welding anything.Once something is on fire its hard to find all that stuff if your panicking...and always have some good fire extinguishers hanging up in the shop ...
