choping my 54 ford pu
wow, easy to post so here i go again. guys i need some advise on books for choping my 54 pick up . Ive seen alot of chops on 53 thru 55 and i like the way they look but I really would like to just get rid of the slant cab look. maby a 3 " chop in front and a 2 " in back. alot of chops I see still have the slant. anyone have pictures how they did there"s . this is sure a great forum. Im in it every day and you guys really know your stuff.

 Get Tex Smiths' book "How To Chop Tops", they give you a couple options for the chop, either using filler strips to lengthen the top sheet metal or to lean the windshield posts. It's full of pictures showing most of the steps. I see them on Ebay and Amazon.com and BarnesandNoble.com.
