Get a copy of Tex Smith's How to Chop Tops. There's a full explanation of chopping your body style. I used it to chop my 37 Chevy..It explains in good detail and has many other cars included too...invaluable!...CR

Maybe try Youtube, there are some chop vids there, might not be the 51 ford but you will still be able to pick up a bunch of general chopping info from it.
You should also Search or ask this question over at the HAMB forum, but search first before just asking questions there or they will barbecue you for not searching. The HAMB and JalopyJournal are a lot more street rod and customs oriented.
