chromabase paint
 

I'am working on a 1950 ford 2dr sedan and its close to paint time. I got some dupont chromabase paint and I just needed some advice on shooting it?

For a beginning with ChromaBase, I strongly recommend that you read the DuPont Tech sheets as well as this WIKI http://www.crankshaftcoalition.com/wiki/First_paint_job. These are your best references. Also, do a search for MARTINSR (Brian Martin) and he will have many good suggestions Once you have some basic understanding there will be several others here that will give you excellent advice, but I for one can say the ChromaBase is not difficult to use IF you have prepared the body properly.

if you are a good painter, you can paint with ANY paint with good results. Just follow product data sheet and you should be fine.
