Its legal, theres nothing illegal about it. Old BSA's, Nortons, Triumphs etc had partially chrome tanks so its not new. There are a bunch of guys throughout the US and canada that have had chrome bikes, I just have always wonderd how the bloody hell you can see with the glare. Its not really important, I just brought it up because it was 4 am and I needed a typing break.

looks cool, but if you gave it the gas you might slide off. Saw a guy riding on the back of a bike many years ago who stood up to comb his hair to impress the girls. The driver took off and left him standing bull legged right in the middle of the street. The girls wet their pants laughing at the poor dude. It wasn't ME I am too smart to get on one of them thangs!!!!!!!!!

There was some mention that you can cook your eggs on that. I actually rode a Triumph years ago that was chromed and it is almost unbearable in the summer heat to drive that. The reflection of the sun is always aimed at you in the high sun. <img src="graemlins/pain.gif" border="0" alt="[pain]" /> But it is cool to look at. Mine has very little chrome right now.
