chrome body trim

As you may have seen in some of the other forum categorys I've found a 72 ventura and it looks like the body trim pieces will fit my 74 nova. Does anyone know if this is correct?

73oldsman was also asking about the front parking light lenses fitting on his omega. Anyone know if they will? He said they looked like they would and I figure they are pretty generic.

Also, how is the chrome body trim removed? I've looked at it before and noticed it is bent around the drip rails. Does this mean it has to be pealed back to be removed? That makes it sound like after painting a car twice you would need to get all new chrome pieces because the metal would be soo weak. Whats the proper way to remove these?

Thanks,
Luke
