chrome plateing

Question, what is involved with chrome plating engine tins. Valve covers timing covers etc. Do you have to do all of the prep work, like removing paint, or just take them in to the company??

Depends on what the shop will let you do, some don't want anything done some will let you polish them. They only come out as shiny as you polish them. We have a small shop in town here that lets you do as much as you want. then charges what he does.
