hard to say without tests but a possibility could be stuck valve in valve body or two gears ingaged at the same time. maybe park paul locked in the notch

my questions start with;

why was the pump replaced?

was the tranny functioning correctly before the pump replacement?

Does the tranny act like it is in gear while the shifter is in Park & Neutral also?

post back when you have a chance

OK..... did you match the pump up properly for design?

Some input shafts have 2 sealing rings , some are 3 sealing rings. Pump stator & input shaft designs must match

A mismatch would cause troubles..... either way , I believe you need to remove the trans to diagnose & fix the problem
