Chrysler corperation motor identifacation 40's-50's
Not sure if I'm in the right thread here
What I have is a flat head six cylinder.motor built by Chrysler corp. The ID number on the block is, D56-23498. I'm also trying to find out what this motor came out of. My plan is to rebuild it for a 1942 Plymouth if it will adapt? Thanks for any help you can provide

Go to ....Allpar.com..........they have a big site on all Mopar stuff from new to old. It maybe of some help, lots of pics and info.
