Chrysler NAG1 Transmission Question
I have a question that maybe one of you can give me some ideas. I am using an 06 NAG1 5 speed auto stick Chrysler transmission in a rod. I cannot use the wheel sensors, so I need a solution to "fake" out the computer to think it has them. Maybe a magnetic sensor on the drive shaft that feeds a circuit that replicates the 4 output signal of the wheel sensors. The faster the driveshaft spins the greater the amplitude of the replicated wheel sensor circuit would change. (If that makes sense) Or any other solution anybody has heard of. The back wheel sensors do a check and balance with the NAG1 transmission putting it in "limp mode" if the sensor is not detected, as well as abs functions. The front wheel sensors control abs which I need to deal with also. Traction control can be shut off. I think the circuit would be the best choice. Anybody heard of anything like this or who could build me one, or anybody who is using a NAG1 and working correctly?
You should know I have the entire car harness and all computers, so basically I'm transferring everything from one new car to an old one, minus the wheel sensors.
Thanks for any ideas!
