Check out "basics of basics" here on the website..Basically get the body bolted in place and then hang the doors so they fit then go to the fenders and hang them..I would expect to do quite a bit of tweaking and shimming to get one of those "just right" and yes the old shims may not mean a whole lot any more..

Thanks Modas, I checked out that website and it was loaded with good details of all the pain and anquish I already went through. Great photos and advise.
Also Thanks One more time. I will check out "basics to basic" I am getting ready to hang the doors and have lots of shims to place between the frame and the body to get it straight. MPG |
