Classic Mustang Fuel Cell
I have a 69 Mustang Convertible.
Someone told me to look into a Ford recall for this but could not find anything about it ... Is there a fuel cell for this car that I dont have to rob a bank for ? If anyone has any info or links on either of these subjects , I would be grateful. Thanks

i have a 69 stang also. you can get replacement fuel tanks for around a 130 dollars from National Parts Depot. but if you actually want a FUEL CELL for racing ill help you rob the bank cause i could get a new car for one. NPD sells them for 900- 1200 bucks. And there probably the best mustang suppliers in america.

The Ford recall only places a sheet metal shield over the gas tank in the trunk, it's not a fuel cell upgrade.
Many people burned to death in those cars because of that flaw in design.

Thanks for the info ...
I have seen the shield for the fuel tank ... thinking I might put a false complete floor in the trunk.
