cleaned up my dash a little - z28

My radio never worked, not to mention I have no speakers, so I ripped it out. I was left with a huge hole full of wires. I also had my gauges on top of my dash, which I wasn't a fan of. Now my gauges are tucked away where only I can see them and my dash is a lot cleaner looking.

Ewwww.

Thin gauge aluminum.

Much better.

This is in my 1980 z28 clone. I to find a new dash because mines ripped up and a z28 gauge cluster. I'm also looking for the front and real lower spoilers for the z28. If anyone has any of this stuff please contact me.

Good job! Did you get a new dash pad to get rid of the screw holes?

No, I need one of those too. I pretty much need the whole dash, including gauges. The holes on the right are from the previous owners tach. He put all of those in there. I just made it look better.

Nice job!

I'd rather listen to my engine and pipes, rather than music, anyday!

why didnt you put the third gauge in with the other two? i dont have problems with gauges on stuff tho.

where is your radio? i noticed the giant gas gauge. that means you have idiot lights in the inst. panel right? could put a radio where it belongs and put the gauges where the idiot lights are. i have a U-14 panel going in my 72 'maro soon but the autometer gauges look way better to me.

Eh. I don't want a radio. Useless weight. I can concentrate and relax more without one. Just drive and listen to the motor. I didn't put the other gauge in the middle because I didn't wanna cram everything together and they aren't the same kind. I just wanted them off the top of the dash and needed to fill the hole.
