Cleaning aluminum interior panels
I ave an older race car with a full aluinum interior. What is the recommended way to clean up the panels to make them look like new. I do not want them fully polished, just back to a like new luster. Any ideas?

Some extra fine Scotch-Brite and a bottle of aluminum wheel cleaner will work wonders. This will not be shiney mind you. If you want a little shine you'll have to hit the panels with some polish and elbow grease after they're cleaned.

Thanks for the tip, I will try it over the holiday weekend. I specifically do not want the panels to be highly polished. This is an old 48 Anglia Gasser, and want to get back to the original dull sheen. Had a trans let go and has stained most of the panels, so just looking to get them cleaned, without looking like I buffed them out.
