Cleaning fabric headliner

Any tips on how to clean a fabric headliner? The PT Cruiser I just bought has what looks to be cola splattered on the sunroof cover and a dirty hand print on the headliner in the cargo area. I'd like to try to clean this off but I don't want to use anything that will loosen the glue as it's in really good shape otherwise.

Will something like a foam upholstery cleaner be safe to use?

Thanks,
Peggy

Yes, you can use a foam upholstery cleaner, just don't soak it down with cleaner. Use a nylon bristle brush dry first to see if it will come off without wetting it.
