Clear film.
Does anyone on here know what the clear film is that the graphics
people use that sticks to the paint but peels off easily. I've seen it used on car shows and they have it on a roll. I don't think it's the "Friskit" stuff that the air brushers use, it looks much larger. It's a little transparent and easy to draw on, looks like it peels off mush easier than normal shelf paper and leaves no residue.

A quick search on Google under "masking film" brought a bunch of hits...
This is one of them... http://www3.3m.com/catalog/us/en001/...er/output_html Mark |

After reviewing the 3M film I don't think that's got a sticky back.
Their film is said to "cling" to the body but nowhere mentions adhesive or for art work. I think their film is just for masking, just like paper. I am looking for something to peel and stick.

What are you using it for? This stuff will work with an airbrush just fine if that is your purpose. The low psi won't lift it.

mylar
You can also use mylar and a 3M spray adhesive. There's an electric 'burner' you can use to cut (melt) it into the desired pattern while it's on the car. The pieces can be lifted off, then set back into place without adding more adhesive. The burner looks like one of the old woodburners that came in a kit, only it's low heat and won't damage the paint.
