do you polish the frame afterwards? i have enough clear on there now i'm sure i can get it to look good if i polish it but i've never really tried sanding and polishing round tubing before? thanks |

frame work
if it looks realy smooth thats what i use the 4000 grit for. if u have a few small runs they should be no problem a run is just a high spot. take 800 grit and carefully (a little at a time) wet sand it till its gone if u see the water off the paper change color stop!!! so u dont sand to deep. after that you should be able to wet sand with 1500 2000 4000 i hand buff out the frame use a spare wool bonnet with 3M rubbing compound and final glaze. www.wayneskustompaint.com

if while clearing you get runs just work them to the bottom and let it drip. buffing a frame sucks with any buffer. i just blast them wet and let it flow.
