clear transparent top valve covers

How many people would be interested in some valve covers with see-through tops?. How much would you be willing to pay?

I was thinking of putting some on ebay.

they would be std tall chrome valve covers with the tops cut out and replaced with a high temp polycarbonate plate.

Clear top valve covers

Many people have done these over the years. Once you start the engine they become covered with oil!

They are still being sold. I saw them not to long ago at a swap meet. There was a vebdor there selling them, he also had different color "glass" offered. I agree with the above comment that they will only look "pretty" when the engine is not running and only if they are clean and clear then. I am sure there is a market for them out there. I would think aluminum valve covers would look and work a little better. Give it a shot you never know.
