Did you run out of clear in the middle of shooting? If this is the case, let it dry, then sand what's on there with 1000 grit and put what ever clear you want over it.
If you ran out without getting all the base covered, then you will need to apply base again as well. That goes for any places you sand through the clear as well.If you have not started shooting, and just realized you don't have enough clear. I suggest saving that clear for another job , and just using a different clear for your frame. Bottom line is, I don't think anyone with experience in these matters is going to advise you to mix clears. It can cause a myriad of problems I'm certain you don't want to deal with. |
