Cluless about the 4L60E transmission

Toying with the idea of buying a LT1/ 4L60E transmission combo for a 67 Elky. How is this tranny for mild street rod use? Are they very complicated with the electronics to setup? If I have to even ask these questions should I stay away from it? Any help or advice would be appriciated.

If it's in good shape and you're going to use the LT1's EFI, ECM & all sensors it will work fine. The "E" Trans needs input from engine sensors and ECM to operate.
