clutch arm movement

I am setting up the linkage for 4 spd installation in my 65 Biscayne & would like to know how far the clutch arm has to move to disingage the clutch.

If you're talking about the outer arm movement, where the linkage presses the arm, usually 1-11/4 ", dependent on what clutch fork you have.
