clutch help
hey guys
i'm doing the infamous auto to manual swap in my chevelle, i have a saginaw 4 speed, that i'm bolting onto the sbc 350. I need to know what size clutch to use, i got this flywheel from a guy and he says it uses a 10.5" clutch but how do you tell what size clutch to use? measure the flywheel? bellhousing? snow is melting, i gota get my *** ,along with my car in gear!!! oh yeah the car has 4.11 gears in the rear, the flywheel is a little more than 14" in diameter,is this considered a large or small flywheel? thanks

count the flywheel teeth, the small wheel only takes 10.5 and smaller clutch, this is determined by how big the friction ring in the pressure plate is. large flywheel will take 10-11.5" clutch.
