Clutch kit suggestions?
Hey guys, I'm looking for a good clutch kit for my sbc/t56 set up. It is a Gen. 1 block (2 peice rear main) that will be pushing 550 horse with the nitrous shot. Car is 1980 camaro, trans is t56 out of 94 trans am. Any suggestions on a good clutch kit that will hold on both the street and strip would be appreciated.

clutch kit suggestions
hi kieth,i went through this a few years ago.mine is a 67 with similar hp no nitrous.m 22 muncie.the only clutch i found to hold was centerforce dual friction.

I had a richmond transmissioned roller cam pontiac stroker that made huge torque. but no nos. I had the best luck with centerforce dual friction sets.
